Not only does the neighborhood feature views and architecture aplenty, but it was once home to famed San Franciscan author Armistead Maupin of "Tales of the City." There is also a peaceful separation from the commercial area on Cole Street and a handful of public bus lines that climb to serve the neighborhood.
